Within the OPEN foundation we have five commissions, which all manage and carry out their own projects. If you would like to help us, click on 'Become a volunteer' in the menu 'Help us'. There you can react on vacancies in our different committees. Of course, besides becoming a volunteer, you can also help us a lot by sharing your ideas with us, or by donating money.

Different committees in our foundation perform the following tasks:

Lectures

The lecture committee is involved in organizing lectures and film evenings. We contact speakers or filmmakers, take care of a nice location and equipment, and promote our activities. At the moment, this is the most important part of what the OPEN foundation does, so we can use a lot of help with this.

Research

The aim of the research committee is to promote psychedelic research in the academic world. For this we want to create a network in which (young) researchers and students can help each other to set up research. Next to this, in the future we would like to help finance such research.

Fundraising

The fundraising committee ensures that money becomes available. Requesting support by third parties, thinking up campaigns that can fetch us money with which we can finance our activities.

Social activities

Because it should still be fun! We organize social meetings and recently had a fundraising party, all to strengthen the connection between all the people involved in OPEN.

News

The News committee deals with keeping the website up-to-date and spreading relevant information about psychedelic research, via the website and our newsletter. In this way, interested people stay informed about our activities and about developments in our area of interest.
