Boek: Brazilian Ayahuasca Music

On Google Video, a one-hour lecture by MAPS director Rick Doblin is available, about the distribution of psychedelics during the sixties, the FDA ban on psychedelic research, dealing with difficult psychedelic experiences on the Burning Man festival, studies carried out by MAPS, how MDMA and psychedelics could become accepted medicins, and in the end: about how a foundation can be constructed for the integration of psychedelics into society.

Bookreview - LSD: The Highway to Mental Health

Our thanks go out to Tom Roberts PhD for providing us with his review of this book.

The book describes the work of Dr. Milan Hausner at his clinic at Sadska, near Prague, where as Medical Director of the psychiatric clinic he supervised over 3,000 LSD therapeutic sessions from 1954 to 1980. As Grof says on a back cover blurb, “He has amassed information that is invaluable for the theory and practice of psychotherapy.

The Britsh newspaper The Telegraph featured an interesting article on the (dis)advantages of the use of psychedelics in both regular - legal - psychotherapeutic and underground, 'illegal' therapeutic practices.

The full article can be found here.

Neuroscientist Roland Griffiths gives an excellent 19-minute talk about the Johns Hopkins studies of psilocybin-based mystical experiences with special attention to religious and spiritual topics.

Watch the whole talk on TED's website.
